Keynote Speaker: Prof Shigehiro Oishi
Distinguished expert Prof. Shigehiro Oishi (Marshall Field IV Professor of Psychology at the University of Chicago). Prof. Oishi is recognised for his pioneering research on happiness, meaning, culture and emotional well-being.
His talk will offer fresh perspectives on emotion, connection and resilience that will frame the day’s conversations and guide our collective inquiry.

Dr. Himangana Gupta
Dr. Himangana Gupta is Research Fellow and Academic Associate at United Nations University – Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS).Her ongoing research work focuses on indigenous and local communities, and well-being. She has served as Lead Author for the Nexus Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services.
